Nassau County is providing COVID-19 booster shots to all eligible individuals with two pop-up clinics: on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nassau Community College in Garden City, and Sunday, Nov. 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Yes We Can Community Center on Garden Street in Westbury. The county will also offer booster shots weekly at its Department of Health office at 200 County Seat Dr. in Mineola. (Mineola Patch)
2. The Village of Mineola Halloween party has been rescheduled to Sunday, Oct. 31, from noon to 2 p.m. The event for Mineola children and residents only will be held outside at the Community Center parking lot at 155 Washington Ave. (Village of Mineola)
