Winds from the Northeast will be increasing throughout the afternoon, with gusts of up to 50 mph into Wednesday morning. The County's Office of Emergency Management is preparing for the storm by clearing drainage systems. (Mineola Patch)
  2. Mold has been found in the walls of Deasy Elementary School in Glen Cove, and some parents say their children have been coming home from the school sick.
