Elmont Teen Charged in Massapequa Robbery

Police say the 18-year-old fled with items she had agreed to purchase Wednesday evening.

An 18-year-old from Elmont faces a second degree robbery charge after police say she stole a belt and sneakers from a person known to her in Massapequa Wednesday evening.

Police said the unnamed female victim had arranged to sell a designer belt and designer “Carmine” sneakers to Felicia Ahmed at a pre-arranged location in Massapequa.

Ahmed arrived to the location in a vehicle driven by an unknown male at about 5:43 p.m., police said. When the seller handed the belt to Ahmed and placed the sneakers on the car, Ahmed shoved the victim to the ground and fled in the vehicle with both items, police said.
