Nassau County Legislator Richard Nicolello and the Nassau County Police Department have joined the United States Drug Enforcement Agency’s (DEA’s) National “Take Back Initiative”. This program provides for safe and anonymous disposal of unwanted, unused or expired medicines and pharmaceuticals.
All residents are invited to stop in to the County’s 3rd Police Precinct on Saturday, April 30 between 10:00 am and 2:00pm to safely and anonymously dispose of their excess prescription or over-the-counter medicines.
