The Garden City Hotel Hosts First Ever Wedding Week

As engagement season comes to a close, The Garden City Hotel is setting new standards for wedding showcases by creating two unique events: Couture and Confections on Tuesday, March 3rd and Weddings on Seventh: A Luxury Showcase on Thursday March 5th.

Leading up to the Luxury Showcase, The Garden City Hotel will host ‘Couture and Confections’ on Tuesday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. Brides will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Vera Wang’s newest Bridal fashions as well as attend an expert panel with wedding planning tips, tricks, fashion details and more. The panel will include celebrity event planner Michael Russo of Michael Russo Events and ‘Mikie Saves the Date’, Erica Arkin, SVP of Bridal at Vera Wang, Sania Recupero, Manager of The Wedding Salon of Manhasset and Long Island’s favorite bride, Elisa DiStefano.

The Luxury Showcase, on Thursday, March 5th at 6:30pm, will offer future brides and grooms a chance to experience four incredible wedding themes staged in the legendary Grand Ballroom to inspire personal wedding styles and offer a chance to meet the most sought after wedding professionals and vendors for every detail of your big day. The Garden City Hotel’s exclusive bridal gown partner, The Wedding Salon of Manhasset, will showcase Vera Wang’s newest bridal collection.

Additional highlights of the Luxury Showcase:

• Zahir Ziani, internationally acclaimed and award-winning Master Stylist of Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa, will style brides-to-be in the center of the Grand Ballroom.
• Champagne, Pinterest-worthy desserts, hors d’oeuvres and themed craft cocktails will be available for the tasting.
• Live music includes an 8-piece band, DJ and more.
