Get Ready for Small Business Saturday in Mineola
Residents are encouraged to shop locally for the holidays.

The Mineola Chamber of Commerce and other local leaders gathered on Nov. 5 to kick off the promotion of this year’s Small Business Saturday.
The Town of North Hempstead is sponsoring this year’s Small Business Saturday, which takes place Nov. 29 and is a joint partnership between Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP) and the Small Business Saturday Coalition. This is a national effort to drive consumers to shop at local independently owned businesses on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
“It is a priority of mine and of this administration to support our local businesses in any way we can,” North Hempstead Supervisor Bosworth said.
