The Hofstra University Museum’s Exploration Backpacks offer an activity-filled way for adults and children to explore together our outdoor sculpture collection on the University’s beautiful campus, or the current exhibition in the David Filderman Gallery! At the end of your tour, return the backpack and the child can keep the crafts they’ve created! It’s free, it’s fun, and it’s for everyone ages 5-10 and their grown-up companions all year-round. Materials can be picked up in the Emily Lowe Gallery.
Keep in mind: the backpacks (usually) take a minimum of one hour to complete; as such, the latest that we give them out is 2:30pm Tuesday-Sunday. Please see our website for further details!
