Here are the top stories in Mineola today:
- A 32-year-old man was killed in a drive-up shooting in Uniondale Thursday night, according to Nassau County police who are investigating the incident. Officers responded to a call about shots fired on Dale Place and found the victim sitting in his car with several gunshot wounds as he was pronounced dead. (Mineola Patch)
- Right Coast Taqueria, a well-rated Mexican restaurant in Deer Park and Ronkonkoma, is opening its new location in Mineola in the near future. Known for its birria tacos and taco boxes, Right Coast Taqueria will be in the Mineola Crossings shopping center (with North Shore Farms supermarket) at 330 East Jericho Turnpike.
