Man Robs Mineola Sandwich Shop, Threatens to Use Gun
The robbery occurred Sunday night, police said.

Police are looking to identify the man who robbed a sandwich shop and threatened to use a weapon in Mineola on Sunday night.
According to authorities, a man entered Subway, located at 106 Old Country Road, and handed a female employee a demand note for money and threatened to use a gun, which he did not display, at 7:28 p.m.
The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and the robber fled the store in an unknown direction.

No injuries were reported.
Police described the robber as white, around 30 to 40 years old, wearing gray pants, sneakers, a black parka with a fur-rimmed hood and beige gloves.
