Masked Man Robs Mineola Gas Station

The robbery occurred Sunday night.

MINEOLA, NY - Police are seeking a man who robbed a Mineola gas station on Sunday night.

According to police, the a man entered the Ultra station located at 70 E. Jericho Turnpike around 9:25 p.m., approached the clerk and used his hand to simulate a firearm in his pocket.

The robber opened the cash register and removed an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and assorted cigarettes packs from the shelf. he fled the scene in a dark colored SUV eastbound on Jericho Turnpike.

No injuries were reported.

The robber was wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers, black ski mask and black gloves.
