Mineola Chamber Hosts Annual Christmas Party

The Mineola Chamber of Commerce celebrated Christmas a little early on Tuesday with its annual party at . The Mineola Choral Society sang Christmas carols and the  new mayor Larry Werther was introduced to the chamber.

Although Werther already attends every meeting as the village board's chamber liaison, it was his first meeting as Mayor. He said he will continue the course set by  . 

Werther also introduced the , Scott Strauss, who was appointed by Werther last week. 

Chamber president Ray Sikorski spoke about the importance of "paying it forward" this holiday season and doing something kind and generous for someone else.

Although winter is ahead, before you know it, the chamber will be planning the Mineola Fair, which takes place every May.
