Mineola High School Band Selected to Perform in Albany

Mineola High School’s 11-12 grade concert and jazz bands were selected to represent the school and State Legislative District with a performance at the Empire State Plaza – the Capitol Building – in Albany, according to the district's website.

Part of the NYSSMA “Music in Our Schools Month” celebration, schools from across New York State apply to perform at this event as a part of a month-long push to advocate for music education.

Students will performed on Monday, with a planned tour of the Capitol Building and lunch, also on other schedule.
