Mineola Student Travels to Paraguay to Assist Children in Extreme Poverty

Aline Muller donated food, clothes and games to more than 45 children in Paraguay.

One Mineola High School student’s senior project brought her to Paraguay where she worked with children who live in extreme poverty for one week.

Aline Muller raised money from a Penny War earlier in the year to be able to donate food, clothes and games to more than 45 children in Paraguay.

She also had the opportunity to teach them English and work on school activities with them. Aline’s purpose was to raise awareness about poverty. Innocent children have limited resources that we take for granted every day.
