Mineola Students Grow a Green Thumb

The students have been growing various plants in a sustainable greenhouse.

Students at Mineola Middle School have been using their green thumb to create a sustainable greenhouse with many different plants, herbs and vegetables.

The greenhouse serves many academic functions for science classes, as well as for art classes to create pots. Mr. Zorn’s class is pictured assisting in the first planting of the new season.
