Mineola Students Hold Pajama Donation Drive

The pajamas will be donated to local hospitals for children in the pediatric unit.

Students at Meadow Drive School in the Mineola Union Free School District held a pajama donation drive to support the Ashley Wade Foundation and Jake’s Jammies, which provides the pajamas to local hospitals for children in the pediatric unit.

The goal of Jake’s Jammies is to bring love and comfort to all of the children in the hospital in hopes to brighten their day a bit during a difficult time. Donations of new pajamas in various sizes were requested throughout a week in November and then culminated with a celebration of generosity where students each wore their own fun pajamas to school that day.
