Mineola Students Rake it in for Fall Cleanup
Students volunteer their time to clean up school grounds.
Fall is here, so that means plenty of leaves are on the ground. Someone has to pick up the leaves littered across the school. Who better to do so than the students?
Eighth-grade students at Mineola High School volunteered their time to help complete fall cleanup efforts on the grounds of the school.
As part of work done through the Student Service Center, each month the students are offered an opportunity to volunteer within the community.

Typically done at the park, this year the students raked up all the leaves surrounding the fields since the park is under construction.
