Prior to the holiday recess, the Jackson Avenue School Key Club in the Mineola Union Free School District held a raffle fundraiser where students could win one of two donated bicycles.
The Key Club helps local Jackson families and raised more than $900 from this fundraiser. Raffle winners were third-grader Christian Reyes and fourth-grader Isabella De’Filippo.
Bicycles were donated by the family of teacher Mrs. Goodwin and a helmet and accessories were courtesy of Mineola Bicycle, Fitness and Mower.
