Nassau Government Building Evacuated Due To Threatening Letter
BREAKING: Police say the Department of Elections received the letter Monday morning, and reports say it may have been an anthrax scare.

The offices of the Nassau County Board of Elections have been evacuate due to an anthrax scare, according to reports.
Nassau police say that a letter was received this morning at the Nassau County Board of Elections office, located at 240 Old Country Road, which contained a threat. The police were called in at 10:38 a.m. and the fifth floor of the building was evacuated.
Police investigated and deemed the building safe, and workers were allowed to return.

News 12 reported that a letter contained the word "anthrax" and Biblical verses.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
