The annual awards honor women who have made incredible impacts on their neighbors and communities. You can send in nominations now.

Town of Hempstead Supervisor Laura Gillen is calling on residents, schools, businesses and community organizations to nominate outstanding women for the town’s 2019 Pathfinder Awards. Held during National Women’s History Month in March, the Pathfinder Awards recognize the achievements of women who made indelible impacts on their neighbors and communities.
Gillen will host the Pathfinder Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Merrick Golf Course Clubhouse, located at 2550 Clubhouse Road #1 in Merrick.
“We come together to celebrate and pay tribute to those who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to improve the community and the lives of others,” Gillen said. “It’s very humbling to live in a community where successes and commendations are awarded to truly deserving women, especially during Women’s History Month.”
