North Side School Ranks Among State's Best
Niche.com ranked the top 100 elementary schools in New York.

North Side School in the East Williston Union Free School District was ranked as the 70th best elementary school in New York, based on new rankings of the 100 top schools in the state from Niche.com.
Nearby, two elementary schools in the Herricks Union Free School District also made the cut.

A school in the Jericho School District is the highest ranked school in Nassau County and New York State.
According to Niche, a high ranking indicates that “students are happy with their experiences in all aspects, especially academics, teachers, and diversity,” “the school is an exceptional academic institution in terms of teachers, students, resources for learning, and student outcomes,” and “the school is made up of a diverse population and fosters an accepting, positive school culture.”
