PastaVino is More Than Just Pizza and Spaghetti

Italian bistro offers romantic ambiance and variety of dishes

Italian food for many is pizza and mom's macaroni and meatballs, but for those seeking Italian with an edge for the modern and sophisticated, look no further then PastaVino Italian Bistro. Serving dishes that are not found in most Italian restaurants in the area is what separates PastaVino from the rest.

A relatively new offering to the palates of Mineola, PastaVino first opened its doors in 2007.  Once you step through its doors, you get the feeling that you are walking into an interesting and dynamic eatery.  Walls are decorated with bottles of wine, crown molding, large light fixtures, and mirrors create a comfortable and relaxing ambiance.  Frank Sinatra and other light listening music from the 40's and 50's perpetuate a mellow vibe to enjoy your meal. French doors are hung in front of the eatery and are known to be opened on relatively hot days allowing for a nice cross-wind to circulate.

The tables are decorated with plain white table clothes and the rattan chairs are quite comfortable.  The marble slated bar with plush bar stools is great place to grab a post meal drink.
