Play Troupe presents November 22 Day-Night DOUBLE FEATURE

Grand finale day of 2014 season will feature both "It's a Wonderful Life" radio drama and "Save the Music Long Island" fundraiser.

On Saturday, November 22, 2014, Port Washington Play Troupe will present a very special Day-Night DOUBLE FEATURE as part of a continuing partnership with WCWP 88.1FM and LIU Post.

By DAY, at 1:00pm, Play Troupe will present the grand finale of their entire 2014 Golden Era of Radio Celebration: a musical radio drama performance of the holiday classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life.” The show is directed by broadcasting veteran Robert J. Nissen and will be recorded in front of a live studio audience for later broadcast.

In this 1947 adaptation of Frank Capra’s beloved holiday film, George Bailey falls so far into despair that his guardian angel Clarence is pressed into service. Clarence shows George how many people he has touched and how wonderful his life really is—just in time for Christmas.
