Police: Glen Cove Woman Stole From Incarcerated Man's ATM Account
The man found that $2,000 was missing from his ATM account when he was released, police said.

A Glen Cove woman was arrested Friday for stealing $2,000 from an incarcerated man’s ATM account, police said.
The man, who was incarcerated at Nassau County Correctional Facility in East Meadow, agreed to have his personal property signed over to a woman he knew through a third party, police said.
Paisley Bettis, 24, was told to deliver the man’s ATM account information and personal property to his parents, police said.

According to authorities, the man discovered that Bettis had taken $2,000 in cash from his ATM account once he was released from the facility.
Bettis was arrested at her Dickinson Street residence at 3 p.m. and was charged with fourth degree grand larceny.

She will be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
