Police: Heroin Overdose Leads To Arrest Of Nassau Dealer

Police say their investigation led them to the man that supplied the drugs.

An investigation into a heroin overdose led to the arrest of an alleged dealer, police said.

According to police, officers were investing an overdose in Nassau County. Their investigation led them to Wesley Coles, 24, of South Franklin Avenue, Hempstead. The Nassau County Narcotics/Vice Squad, in conjunction with the Long Island Heroin Taskforce, arrested him at 4:45 p.m. on Friday in Mineola.

Coles is charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.
