Police: Woman Drove Drunk With 2 Kids in Car in Glen Cove
The woman allegedly refused to hand over her driver's license and attempted to run away from officers Saturday.

A woman from Pennsylvania was arrested for driving drunk with her children, ages 11 and 7, in the car and for resisting arrest Saturday morning in Glen Cove, police said.
According to authorities, Patricia Alamo, 35, was pulled over when an officer saw her tailgating another vehicle on Walnut Road at 12:44 a.m.
Police said the suspect refused to hand over her driver’s license, refused to be handcuffed and attempted to run away from the officers.

Alamo was charged with DWI under Leandra’s Law, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
She was arraigned in District Court on Saturday and is being held on $10,000 bail.
