Police: Woman High on Drugs Drove 15 MPH on Flat Tire on Northern State
Police say a trooper was "easily able to locate the vehicle" after a report of an erratic driver Monday night.

A 25-year-old Wantagh woman was arrested Monday night after police say she was high on drugs while driving on a flat tire on the Northern State Parkway.
According to State Police, a trooper from the Lake Success Barracks was dispatched on a report of an erratic black Volkswagen traveling eastbound near Post Avenue on the Northern State Parkway in Westbury at 11:07 p.m.
The trooper was “easily able to locate the vehicle,” which was traveling at 15 mph on a flat tire, police said.

After stopping the Volkswagen, the trooper interviewed the driver, Josette Livingston.
Livingston exhibited signs of intoxication and a strong odor of marijuana was emanating from her vehicle, police said.

Livingston failed sobriety tests and was arrested on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs, unlawful possession of marijuana, as well as traffic violations, police said.
