Powerball Ticket Worth $50K Sold in Mineola
Winners on Long Island included: a $1 million winner, a $150,000 winner and numerous $50,000 winners.

No one won Saturday’s massive $949.8 million Powerball jackpot, but 10 people who bought tickets on Long Island won prizes ranging from $50,000 to $1 million, the New York Lottery announced Monday.
The largest winning ticket was a $1 million second-prize ticket sold at Mr. Tobacco located at 17 Singer Lane in Smithtown. In addition, a $150,000 ticket was sold at Broadway Service Center located at 285 North Broadway in Hicksville.

Eight third-prize winning tickets worth $50,000 each were sold at:
- Kings Oceanside C-Store, 3414 Long Beach Road, Oceanside
- Citgo, 2 Jericho Turnpike., Mineola
- 7-Eleven, 969 West Beech St., Long Beach
- Centereach Deli, 1769 Middle Country Road, Centereach
- Stop & Shop, 700-60 Patchogue Road, Medford
- Stop & Shop, 88 Golding Ave., West Babylon
- Huntington Shell, 132 East Main St., Huntington
- Jinal Card & Gift, 279 Smithtown Boulevard, Nesconset
“While no one hit the jackpot prize, dozens of New Yorkers are vastly richer thanks to Powerball,” said Gardner Gurney, director of the Division of the Lottery. “New Yorkers are cashing-in big time on history.”

The next drawing is Wednesday, Jan. 13 with the jackpot now set at $1.4 billion. It is the biggest Powerball jackpot ever, the largest jackpot prize of any lottery game in U.S. history, and the biggest lottery prize ever offered in the world that can be won with a single ticket, lottery officials said.
Tickets cost $2 per game and can be purchased until 10 p.m. Wednesday. The drawing will take place at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. New Yorkers can watch the drawing live on WABC.
