The new poles will be placed about two to three feet from the existing poles. They old poles won't be removed right away because other utilities still use them. PSEG says it will actively work with cable and phone companies and local municipalities to move their wires to the new poles so the old ones can be removed.

PSEG says customers with any questions about the project can contact customer service at 1-800-490-0025.
