Putnam Deputy Nabs Alleged Roslyn Heights License Scofflaw

The 23-year-old driver had 16 suspensions on his license, which had been revoked, police said.

SOUTHEAST, NY – A Roslyn Heights 23-year-old who police said was driving with a revoked license that had 16 suspensions on it has had his car impounded in Putnam County.

He was released on $250 bail.

Deputy Sheriff Shawn Iarussi stopped a vehicle on Route 312 at 1:30 p.m. April 8 after noting it had no front license plate and had dark tinted windows.

A computer check revealed the driver, Ronnie E. Foskey, was driving with a revoked license that had sixteen active suspensions by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, Putnam County Sheriff Robert L. Langley, Jr. reported.

Iarussi arrested Foskey and impounded the car.

Then Foskey was taken to the Sheriff's Office, charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 2nd Degree, a misdemeanor, and released on $250 bail.

Foskey is due to appear in the Town of Southeast Justice Court on a future date, police said.
