Residents along the LIRR corridor from Floral Park to Hicksville -PLEASE TAKE NOTE

At Governor Cuomo's direction, representatives of the MTA/Long Island Railroad are conducting neighborhood canvasses of homes potentially impacted by the proposed LIRR Third Track Expansion, beginning this weekend. 5/14/2016

Residents along the LIRR corridor may see canvassers in their neighborhood, and canvassers may initiate contact with homeowners. All canvassers will identify themselves as such and will be displaying official MTA/LIRR identification.

They do not need to enter dwellings.

The MTA/LIRR is also continuing its survey of the LIRR right-of-way along the tracks and around the proposed grade-crossing elimination sites at Willis Avenue and Main Street.

Wednesday, May 25, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Antun’s, located at 244 W. Old Country Road, Hicksville, New York.

Written comments are welcomed and will be accepted by the MTA LIRR until 5:00 PM on June 13, 2016
