WESTBURY, NY – The search is on for a missing teenager who was last seen leaving Dave & Buster's in Westbury on Thursday evening, police said.

14-year-old Alex Velcu was last seen at 6:30 p.m. and was reported missing at 6:40 p.m., Nassau County police said.

He is described as a white male, 5-feet 5-inches tall, 150 lbs., with brown eyes and short dark hair, police said. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black sneakers, and his destination is unknown, NCPD said.
