State Plans Road Work For Mineola LIRR Station

The work will make the front of the building more ADA compliant.

The Mineola LIRR station is going to be getting a facelift in order to make it more easily accessible by people with disabilities.

The state announced its upcoming road projects for the next four years, and the Mineola station is on the list. The state plans on repaving the north side of the station building in order to make it more compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

But don't worry about changing your schedule just yet. The work isn't slated to be done until 2019.
