Carle Place GameStop Thief Turns Himself In: Police

UPDATED: The person responsible for this theft surrendered himself to detectives and was subsequently placed under arrest, police said Monday morning.
A 16-year-old from Wyandanch was charged with petty larceny.

He was released on an appearance ticket and is due back in court on Dec. 8.

Police are looking to identify the man who stole a PlayStation 4 from a Carle Place store earlier this month.
According to authorities, the man entered GameStop, located at 207B Glen Cove Road, and grabbed the gaming system while distracting the clerk on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 1:08 p.m.
He fled scene in an unknown direction out the front door.
Police described the man, who is wanted for larceny, as Hispanic, medium complexion, late teens –early twenties, wearing a blue Hollister sports zip-up jacket and dark blue Adidas track pants.
