William Kist, 93, Knott’s Pharmacy Owner

William Kist passed away on March 2, 2013 at the age of 93 at his home in Tampa, FL. A former Mineola resident for over 89 years, he was the owner of Knott’s Pharmacy.

A member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Williston Park, Kist was predeceased by his wife Margaret “Peggy” and son Henry Kist. He is survived by children Peggy Ruhnke, William A. Jr., James, children-in-law Kevin, Pam, Alicia and Barbara and 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
