The deal keeps Dollar General in place while shifting ownership to out-of-state landlords attracted by the store’s 15-year lease and predictable expenses. 
• Monroe 9/11 responder battles AG in discrimination lawsuit (midhudsonnews.com) — A Monroe resident and former employee of the State Attorney General’s Office is pushing his discrimination lawsuit forward, asking a judge to force the AG to turn over discovery records. He alleges disability discrimination and retaliation tied to cancer he links to his 9/11 responder work, and is seeking damages and legal fees under several state and federal protections.
