YONKERS, NY — A holiday weekend crash in Westchester has left one person dead and two injured.
Shortly before 5 a.m. on Sunday, New York State Police responded to a report of a serious injury crash on I-87 northbound, at Exit 1 in Yonkers.
Their preliminary investigation revealed that a wrong-way driver in an Acura MDX was traveling southbound in the northbound lane when it hit a Honda Civic head-on.

Two people were injured and transported to local hospitals while a third person was pronounced dead during transport to a hospital.
