1 Victim Dies Following Shooting That Wounded 2 In Mount Vernon
No suspects are in custody yet. Police are looking for any information from the public about the late night gun violence.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — Gun violence has taken a life in Westchester County.
The Mount Vernon Police Department says it is investigating a fatal shooting on West Lincoln Ave. Wednesday night.
At 10:25 p.m. on Wednesday, police were called to reports of a shooting. At the scene, police found two men with gunshot wounds.

One man had a gunshot wound to his left forearm and was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.
The second victim had life-threatening injuries, with a gunshot wound to his left underarm. He was taken to Mount Vernon Hospital, where he later died.

Police are asking anyone with information about Wednesday night's shooting to contact the MVPD Detective Division at 914-665-2510. Police say all calls will be kept confidential. Anonymous tips can also be sent via MVPD's "Text-A-Tip" by texting "MVPD" and the tip to 847411. Information can also be sent anonymously using the "Mount Vernon PD" app, available in the Google Play and Apple stores.
