11 Mount Vernon Officers Graduate From 144th Police Academy
Eleven Mount Vernon police officers were among 59 graduates congratulated at a ceremony Friday.
The 144th sesssion of the Westchester County Police Academy culminated Friday with a graduation ceremony. Graduates of the Basic Police Recruit Class included 11 from Mount Vernon.
There were 59 members of the graduating class. They came from Putnam, Westchester and even Long Island, and they're going to municipal and county law enforcement agencies as well as the Purchase College police.
