MOUNT VERNON, NY — A prize-winning Cash4Life ticket sold in Mount Vernon is worth $1,000 a week for life.
The New York Lottery said one second-prize winning ticket was sold for the June 2 Cash4Life drawing. The ticket really does mean cash for life for the winner. The ticket is worth a guaranteed cool $1,000 a week for life, officials confirmed.
The winning ticket was purchased at AA Express Mart, located at 230 West Lincoln Ave. in Mount Vernon.

According to the New York Lottery website, the numbers chosen for June 2 were 12-40-54-55-60 with a cash ball of 03. The numbers for the Cash4Life game are drawn from a field of one to 60. The cash ball is drawn from a separate field of one to four. The Cash4Life drawing takes place on Mondays and Thursday, at 9 p.m.
A lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
