2 Stabbings During A Bloody Holiday Weekend In 1 Westchester City
Police are asking anyone with information about either of the stabbings to contact the MVPD Detective Division.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — The Easter weekend was a regrettably violent one in the city with police investigating two separate stabbings.
On Friday, the Mount Vernon Police Department said that it was investigating an incident in which a man was stabbed multiple times on Lorraine Ave. He was taken to Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx and was listed in critical condition. Police say that a suspect was taken into custody in connection with the stabbing.
Then, on Sunday, MVPD said they were investigating a second stabbing that took place shortly before 3 a.m., at S. 4th Ave. and E. Sandford Blvd. A man was found with multiple stab wounds and was taken to Jacobi where he is listed in stable condition.

Mount Vernon police are asking anyone with information about either of the stabbings to contact the MVPD Detective Division at 914-665-2510. Police said all calls will be kept confidential. Tips can also be submitted anonymously through the MVPD "Text-A-Tip" by texting "MVPD" and the tip to 847411. Tips can also be submitted anonymously using the "Mount Vernon PD" app, available in the Google Play and Apple store.
