2 Wounded After Gunman Fires At Group On Street: Police

Yonkers police report that the shooter remains at-large, following the overnight gunfire that put two victims in the hospital.

YONKERS, NY — Police are investigating overnight gun violence that sent victims to the hospital.

Detectives are investigating a shooting that happened near 83 Riverdale Ave. on Monday night, just before 10:26 p.m. Yonkers police officials said at least one suspect fired several gunshots in the direction of a group of people on the street.

Two gunshot victims arrived at an area hospital with gunshot wounds. Their injuries are described as "non-life threatening."

The shooter or shooters fled the scene, police said. Investigators said no arrests have been made yet and no suspects have been identified so far.
