29-Year-Old Fatally Shot Inside His Apartment: YPD
Yonkers police said the victim was found dead inside the unit after suffering "multiple gunshot wounds."
YONKERS, NY — Investigators said they believe that the man shot in his apartment on Thursday was targeted and not killed in a random attack.
The Yonkers Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place inside an apartment at 284 Riverdale Ave. A 29-year-old man who lived in the unit was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim's identity has not been released pending the notification of his family.
Investigators said the gunman remains at large and no suspects have been identified. Detectives said there are indications that the victim was known to his attacker or attackers.
