4 Arrested With Handguns After Driving 100+ MPH On Sprain Pkwy: NYSP
The four men, 1 from LI and 3 from Queens, are facing felony weapons charges after police say reckless driving caught their notice.

YONKERS, NY — Four men traveling in a BMW on a Hudson Valley highway paid the price for drawing some unwanted attention to themselves.
New York State Police announced on Wednesday that officers arrested four people for illegal possession of two handguns on Tuckahoe Road in Yonkers on October 30.
Shortly before 6:30 p.m., troopers said they spotted a BMW 440 traveling over 100 miles per hour on the Sprain Brook Parkway. Troopers followed the car to Tuckahoe Road and pulled the car over. Police report finding two loaded handguns in the car, a .380 Ruger LCP, and a 9MM Smith & Wesson SD9 VE.

Jalen S. Irwin, 19, of Valley Stream, was arrested for felony second degree criminal possession of a weapon and felony third degree criminal possession of a weapon (large capacity ammunition feeding device). Deandre A. Bowen, 21, Kevin E. Hill, 21, and Daijaun I. Jarvis, 20, all from Queens, were arrested for felony second degree criminal possession of a weapon.
All four were arraigned before the City of Yonkers Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $15,000 cash bail, $30,000 bond or $45,000 partially secure bond. They are scheduled to reappear before the court on November 7.
