• Motorist Charged In Fatal NY Crash That Killed New Milford Man (patch.com) — A Mount Vernon resident has been charged in a fatal 2025 crash on I-684 that killed a New Milford, Connecticut man. New York State Police say the driver faces manslaughter, assault, and other charges after allegedly losing control, striking a guiderail, and colliding with the victim's vehicle. She was arraigned in Putnam County Supreme Court and released pending a September hearing.
