ATM Card Skimmer Found At Bank In Westchester

Police are investigating two separate incidents in which the device used to access debit and credit cards targeted Webster Bank customers.

YONKERS, NY — Thieves have targeted bank customers using a Westchester bank, according to Yonkers police.

Police are investigating two separate incidents in which card-skimming devices were found installed on the Webster Bank ATM machine located at 760 McLean Avenue.

These devices are used to steal people's bank card information and often lead to fraudulent account charges. Customers who used this ATM in the past month should check their accounts for suspicious activity and report the same to their financial institutions, police said in a statement released on Friday.
