Breaking: Yonkers police are investigating the death of a 41-year-old man pulled from the river at the park.

YONKERS, NY — A body was found in the Saw Mill River this morning.
The Yonkers Police Department is investigating the death of a 41-year-old man who was pulled from the Saw Mill River at Chicken Island Daylighting Park, shortly before noon on Sunday.
Police said there do not appear to be any obvious signs of foul play, but detectives are working to identify the exact cause and nature of the death and how the body ended up in the river.

The Westchester County Medical Examiner’s Office has received the body.
The victim is a Yonkers resident who has been identified. However, his identity is being withheld until his family is notified.
