'Building A Bridge To A Better Mount Vernon,' This Week's Meetings

MOUNT VERNON, NY — Noted sociologist Robert N. Bellah wrote,"One of the keys to the survival of free institutions is the relationship between private and public life, the way citizens do, or do not, participate in the public sphere."

There are plenty of upcoming chances to help tend to our democracy close to the roots. Several public meetings are scheduled for this week in Mount Vernon.
