The City Of Mount Vernon To Remember 9/11

A ceremony will take place in Mount Vernon to honor those who sacrificed in the terror attacks of September 11.

MOUNT VERNON, NY — Prior to the 20th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks, the Mount Vernon community will gather to mourn those who were lost and those who risked everything in response.

A remembrance ceremony is scheduled to take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, on the City Hall Plaza. The memorial event is open to the public.
