Cocaine Tucked Above The Gas Cap: New York State Police
Troopers arrested two people on the Sprain Brook Parkway.

State troopers stopped a car on the Sprain Brook Parkway at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday for a traffic violation. They ended up searching the car; and what they found, they said, was about three grams of cocaine in a baggie tucked in above the gas cap.
State Police from the Hawthorne barracks charged Ignacio M. Artiles Santana, 25, of the Bronx, and Aisha Ahmad, 23, of Yonkers, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony.
Artiles Santana and Ahmad were arraigned before the village of Hastings-on-Hudson Court.

Ahmad was released on her own recognizance to appear before the city of Yonkers Court on April 18. Artiles Santana was sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or secure bond, and was scheduled to appear before the city of Yonkers Court on April 4.
