Convictions in Stabbing At Gramatan and West Sydney Avenues
Two Mount Vernon 27-year-olds were convicted on assault and weapons charges.

Two Mount Vernon 27-year-olds were convicted on assault and weapons charges by a Westchester County jury Monday following a trial before Judge George Fufidio.
Joseph Ogilvie and Tremaine Gordon faced charges of:
- Attempted Assault in the First Degree, a class C violent felony
- Assault in the Second Degree, a class D violent felony
- Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Fourth Degree, a misdemeanor
The conviction stems from a violent incident at 3 a.m. April 28, 2016, in the vicinity of Gramatan and West Sidney avenues in Mount Vernon. The victim argued with Ogilvie and Gordon on a public sidewalk. Then when the victim entered a vehicle and attempted to leave, the two stabbed him. The victim fled and was later found injured in the Bronx by members of the New York Police Department and rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries.

Westchester County District Attorney Anthony A. Scarpino, Jr. said the two are in the Westchester County Jail awaiting sentencing April 23.
The case was prosecuted by the Investigations Division Gang, Firearms and Narcotics Bureau.
